Publication
Since 2011, Prokriti O Jibon Foundation (POJF) has been regularly publishing books, magazines, and informative booklets on various topics, which include issues of natural and biodiversity resources, climate change, and environment. These resourceful publications explore diverse aspects of Bangladesh’s nature, natural resources and human life in relation to our natural environment and aim to raise public awareness about the vastly enriched flora and fauna of Bangladesh. In addition, POJF published Children’s Book ‘Pacher Pachali’, the fortnightly Feature Page ‘Prokriti O Jibon’ published at the Daily Jugantor, Magazine ‘Prokritibarta’ published by POJF since 2014, informative booklets, leaflets have also added a new dimension to raising environmental awareness.
These invaluable publications are also distributed by POJF among various Government and non-government organizations, research organizations, schools, colleges, universities and other organizations free of charge. So that our next generation can become aware of the significance of nature and biodiversity and play an active role in their conservation.

A Dream for Green Bangladesh
We are surrounded by mesmerizing nature. However, our environment is getting polluted due to our reckless actions and hence we are increasingly experiencing climate change induced disasters. Nonetheless, we have the courage to dream big, and reveal in the glory of realizing that dream. Even though the path to success is always hindered by darkness of uncertainty, it is to remember that, every dawn comes with new possibilities. The book “A Dream for Green Bangladesh” is an attempt to illustrate the reasons and solutions in regards to environmental catastrophes. This initiative has been taken to awake people’s conscience and to raise awareness in order to kindle their compassion towards nature.

POJF CALENDAR
The Prokriti O Jibon Foundation annually publishes a Nature Themed Calendar focusing on various issues including nature, biodiversity and our environment, containing various illustrations and information on nature and wildlife. These Nature Themed Calendar are designed with stunning pictures of many aspects of our natural glory as well as their status, role, significance in nature.
POJF Calendar – 2012 has been designed and published on the theme ‘Mammals of Bangladesh’, POJF Calendar – 2013 has been designed and published on the theme ‘Ecosystems of Bangladesh’, POJF Calendar – 2014 has been designed and published on the theme ‘Endangered Birds of Bangladesh’, featuring the diverse Avifauna of Bangladesh and their endangered present status. POJF Calendar – 2015 has been designed and published on the theme ‘Rare Flowers of Bangladesh’, featuring an exquisite array of colorful, enchanting flowers. The POJF Nature Themed Calendar – 2019 was designed and published on the theme of the ‘Wild Fruits of Bangladesh’, featuring an array of our native Wild Fruits, their necessity in the balance of the ecosystems and declining status in the face of rapid urbanization and deforestation. POJF Calendar – 2020 has been designed and published on the theme of the ‘Invertebrate Animals’, featuring diverse Invertebrate Animals of Bangladesh and their contribution to nature and environment. The latest POJF Calendar – 2021 was designed and published to spread the message of caution regarding COVID prevention awareness and highlight the positive effects of lesser human intrusion on the diverse ecosystems and wildlife of Bangladesh, because of the home quarantine to stop the Coronavirus Pandemic.
