To mitigate the air pollution in Bangladesh and maintain a sustainable environment, the Clean Air & Sustainable Environment (CASE) project has worked on various activities. This assignment Media Campaign- Information, Education & Communication has been the component to engage the stakeholders in active participation. The major task was to make the community more aware about the causes and impacts of air pollution. To perform the assignment, various programs were taken successfully with consultation of the CASE project management unit. The challenge was to develop knowledge sharing materials in a simplified way to communicate with mass people. People experience air pollution everyday but with proper care they can get rid of it. First the knowledge sharing materials were developed for print and electronic media to disseminate information, and then those were published and telecast regularly for stakeholder’s engagement.
INTEGRATED AND PARTICIPATORY PROGRAM TO CONTROL NOISE POLLUTION
Sound is an important medium of communication. But when this sound crosses the limit, it creates pollution. When the sound of daily works of people, vehicles, and mechanical, electronic instruments is unbearable then it affects badly on human health and environment. Heart disease, headache, hearing loss, bad temper, attention loss, insomnia and many other problems can arise due to Noise pollution. Noise pollution affects the mental development of children and adversely affects the elderly even more. It is especially dangerous for heart patients. That’s why Noise pollution is marked as a silent killer. Under this project POJF has produced and telecast 52 episodes of TV programs on Noise Pollution on one of the most renowned digital satellite channels of Bangladesh. Each episode includes Documentary/ Cultural Program, Talk Show, Interview, Quiz and Awareness messages. POJF also broadcasted awareness messages through Radio Bhumi.

PROJECT PARTICIPATORY RESEARCH & OWNERSHIP WITH TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION & CHANGE (PROTIC)
The adverse effect of climate change is one of the major problems in the present world. The world’s climate is changing rapidly due to various unplanned human activities. Though CO2 is considered as responsible for increasing atmospheric temperature, there are other gases too. Among the chemical components there are Black Carbon, Methane, Tropospheric Ozone and Hydrofluorocarbons. These chemical gases are impacting the temperature rise on both a short and long term basis. The short-lived pollutants stay in the atmosphere for a limited time. The short-lived climate pollutants created from different sources are affecting more than that of CO2. POJF prepared a video documentary to visually explain the severity of the issue in order to bring about changes in concerned people and policy makers to move towards a better solution.

CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS IN THE COASTAL ZONE OF BANGLADESH AND SECTORIAL VULNERABILITIES
Bangladesh is one of the frontline victims of accelerated global warming. Climatic impacts are ravaging the coastal region of the country, with irregular weather patterns, increasing frequency and intensity of cyclone and storm surge, flood, water logging, river erosion, salinity intrusion, coastal inundation, and sea level rise becoming prominent. Climate change is already changing the social and economic dynamics in the coastal region, particularly in relation to the livelihood options and practices of the millions of vulnerable and at-risk people. Such sectoral vulnerabilities give rise to displacement of families and communities from their settlement due to river erosion, water logging and coastal inundation, turning them into climate refugees.
