There are 6 East Asian-Australasian Flyway network sites in Bangladesh. These are very important for the millions of migratory waterbirds. POJF undertook a knowledge sharing campaign to conserve migratory waterbirds in Tanguar Haor and Nijhum Dweep National Park. The main objectives were: undertaking the proper video documentation of migratory waterbirds and their ecological role, community engagement in conservation, mass awareness through video documentation and focal group discussion to mitigate poaching etc.
