To combat climate change, and ensure sustainable management of natural resources in different ecosystems, and conservation of wildlife, POJF has been facilitating various capacity building trainings, workshops, yard meetings, and focus group discussion with specialists in the respective fields as trainers, and participants from every strata of the society. Creating mass awareness about the necessity of disaster preparedness, sustainable management techniques of natural resources to ensure balanced ecosystems has always been a key agenda of POJF capacity building training. Since inception in 2009, POJF has been conducting nationwide campaigns, significantly contributing to making life sustaining, vital information available to the people living in the most disaster prone and natural resources rich areas of Bangladesh. Such capacity building training includes, training on Co-management, forest resource management, alternative livelihood development and so on. Working to disseminate vital information to save lives, POJF continues to work in the area of capacity building, sustainable development and coordination buildup between Government, non-government and private sector stakeholders for ensuring greater adaptations and climate friendly development.
