To ensure environmental education for children, POJF incorporates a character show named ‘Pachar Pachali’ in each year’s Prokriti Mela (Nature Fair). This is to ensure that children understand and enjoy learning about nature and biodiversity through the Nature Fair.
To take this initiative one step ahead, POJF regularly publishes children’s books with the same name ‘Pachar Pachali’. These books are designed to awaken love for environment and nature in the heart of the children and raise awareness for conservation from the very childhood. The children will be able to learn about the diverse forest and various animals rhythmically from the books. Enriched with nature themed pictures and rhymes, these books will have a lasting impact on child psychology.
The story of ‘Pachar Pachali’ has also been continued into the TV Cartoon Series ‘Pachar Pachali’, aired at satellite TV Channel – Channel i to reach children from all around the world. POJF believes that, if the next generation learns the importance of conservation of nature and biodiversity in their childhood, they will feel the urge to do something from their part in future and will do less harm to nature. With this vision, POJF has taken this approach to reach children of 6 continents by telecasting the cartoon series on TV and YouTube.
